We're supposed to have this right?

In the late 90s, at the peak of her career, Celine Dion had a forbidden affair with an ancient Scum. The affair was kept secret for reputation purposes, however in the heat of one mid-summer night, a child was conceived. Embarrassed and ashamed of what she had done, Celine slayed the ancient Scum and cast her child into the toxic, oil ridden waters following the 2010 BP oil spill, hoping to hide all evidence of her affair and her bastard child. That child, a little girl, would be rescued by members of the Cult of Scum, and was given her true name, Scarlette Scum.

As Scarlette grew older, she had a distaste for everything the world had to offer, outside of her friends in the Cult. She made several attempts to find happiness in films, theme parks, video games, but everything only brought back the harsh reality of humanities pitiful downfalls and shortcomings. The only thing that made Scarlette happy, was music.

On a cold day in the Fall of 2015, Scarlette had the idea to create a boy band of her own, one that would put words to her feelings, one that she could send off into the world to spread those words to the people she was too disgusted to look at. She and the Cult collected four cadavers from the local morgue and took them to a dusty field in North Texas. There, she arranged their bodies in the symbol of the Ankh and spoke from ancient text of the NecronomiScum.

Thus, Scum Pop was birthed. A group riddled with atrocious features, possessed to spread reflections of the world seen through the eyes of a vengeful 9-year-old child. A group commanded to live up to the pop sensation of their creators’ mother yet plagued by the sinister and mutilated soul of their creators’ father.

Scum Pop exists in a world where everything is witnessed, and nothing is believed.
